On August 5, 2025, the La Quinta City Council awarded a contract in the amount of $6,879,699.00 to
construct the Fritz Burns Park Improvements Project No. 2021-02 (Base Bid Only) to your firm. Enclosed
please find one (1) original set of contract documents for signature by the principal(s) of your firm. Please
execute the set of documents and return them to the City along with the bonds, City business license,
and certificate of insurance with the City named as Additionally Insured. A fully executed set of
documents will be forwarded to you upon final execution by the City.
Please furnish the City a Milestone Schedule within 10 days of the Notice of Award or with the return of
the contract signed by the Contractor, whichever is earlier, with a beginning date of 15 days after the
Notice of Award per Section 2000.4.2.1, Construction Schedule. Contractor shall pay to City $500.00
liquidated damages per calendar day that the Milestone Schedule is not provided.
