MBA 2025-0010 to PP 1992-485 51289 Desert Club Dr Patio Addition (12.01.2025)

Jackson Blvd. Ste. 1700 Chicago, IL 60604 SUBJECT: MODIFICATION BY APPLICANT 2025-0010 FOR A PATIO COVER ADDITION AT 51289 DESERT CLUB DRIVE Dear Mr. Guadagno: The Design and Development Department has reviewed your request to modify the rear elevation to construct a patio cover at 51289 Desert Club Drive. The proposed modification is considered minor pursuant to La Quinta Municipal Code Section 9.200.090 and remains consistent with the intent of Plot Plan 1992-485. The project consists of adding a rear patio cover and will not increase the building’s square footage or create any significant changes to the originally approved design. The modification is approved as shown in the attached exhibits and is subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. The applicant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of La Quinta (“City”), its agents, officers and employees from any claim, action or proceeding to attack, set aside, void, or annul the approval of this Modification by Applicant. The City shall have sole discretion in selecting its defense counsel. The City shall promptly notify the applicant of any claim, action or proceeding and shall cooperate fully in the defense. 2. The applicant shall conform to all other corresponding conditions of approval for Plot Plan 1992-485. 3. The applicant shall inform the City of La Quinta’s Planning Division of any subsequent changes. Additional modifications may require subsequent review and may result in additional conditions of approval. 4. The applicant shall apply for and obtain all necessary building permits (BCOM2025- 0007). 5. This approval does not cover exterior signage. A separate permit is required for exterior signage.
