Dear Ms. Hardman,
Enclosed you will find a check in the amount of $26,180 from The City of La
Quinta. This is the mitigation fee ($7,700/acre) associated with the
Mitigated Negative Declaration (SCH No. 1999081020) for the SilverRock
Resort project. The mitigation for this project requires the City to provide
financial resources necessary to purchase and manage 3.4 acres of mesquite
hummock in the Willow Hole area, or in another area where the habitat is
contiguous and large preserves already protect much of this habitat type.

comply with the mitigation of the mesquite hummock.
