The Lien on tax rolls to recover costs for the Abatement of Public Nuisance was requested
by the CITY OF LA QUINTA via La Quinta City Council Resolution No. 98-104, recorded
with the Riverside County Recorder as Document No. 1998-436582 on October 8, 1998,
on parcels of land in the City of La Quinta, County of Riverside, State of California.
This Release is for that parcel of land particularly described as Assessor's Parcel Number
774-272-022, Single -Family Residence, Lot 10, Block 269 of Santa Carmelita at Vale La
Quinta, Unit 25, as shown by map on file in Book 19, Page(s) 50 through 51 of maps in
the records of Riverside County, California. Owner at time of recording was KELLOG,
ROBERT AND SHEILDS, W.L. Property Use at the time of recording was a VACANT -
RESIDENTIAL LAND.
That certain request via La Quinta City Council Resolution No. 98-104 recorded as
Instrument Number 1998-436582 on October 8 1998, concerning APN 774-272-022 only
in the amount of $312.50, is hereby satisfied and discharged as of January 16, 2026.

F RESOLUTION NO. 96-104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA, ASSESSING LIEN AND PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION ON
TAX ROLLS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR COSTS OF ABATEMENT OF
PUBLIC NUISANCE.
BE IT RESOLVED, Chapter 11.72 of the La Quinta Municipal Code provides for
the declaration and determination of certain conditions of property to be a public
nuisance and further provides for the abatement of said nuisance by certain procedures
including abatement by the City and collection of the cost of said abatement on tax
rolls; and
BE IT RESOLVED, in accordance with said abatement procedures, the Building
& Safety Director of the City of La Quinta, as agent of the City Manager, has
determined that a public nuisance exists on the following described premises, and has
given the notice required by law, and the owner thereof has failed to appeal said
determination and has failed to abate said nuisance as required in said notice; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in accordance with said abatement procedure, the
Building and Safety Director has, by contract, provided for the abatement of said
public nuisance on said properties and has filed a report thereon with the City Council
and the City Council has conducted a hearing on said report and the assessment of
said costs against said properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds, determines, and declares that the City has abated
a public nuisance on each of the following described premises and has
conducted a hearing on assessment of the costs of said abatement in the time
and manner as required by law and further determines that there were no
objections or protests to assessments of said costs by any interested party.
2. The City Council hereby finds, determines, and orders that the report of the
Building and Safety Director relative to assessment of costs is hereby approved
and the City Council hereby orders that the following costs are hereby assessed
as liens against the following properties and the amount of said assessment
shall be collected at the time and in the manner of ordinary property taxes:
