content management implementation, migration, and deployment of Laserfiche. Over 60% of our client

TEAM EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
The Walnut office staff and software engineers will provide service and support for the City of La Quinta
and will assist you in the support, design, implementation, and training of the Laserfiche application.
We currently have six (4) software engineers and three (3) application developers.
Communication between the City of La Quinta and CPS will be the essence of successful
implementation. Therefore, Claude Schott will be the executive coordinator and main contact. Claude
has over fifteen 22 years of experience in the document and record management industry and is
currently the CFO for CPS and holds a master's degree in international business and marketing.
CPS' Professional Services team led by Joseph Mempin and Project Manager Braden Young will assist
the City of La Quinta in the support of Avante and any new implementation of Laserfiche.
Terrence Srey and Joseph Uyan will assist Joe with the scope of the project.

City Clerk staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) requesting bids for a cloud -based EDMS solution to
replace SIRE. The five remaining proposals were invited for demonstrations. Employee representatives
from Information Technology, Finance, Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Community
Development Departments participated in evaluating the software. Complete Paperless Solutions was
awarded the contract.
The Scope of Work was for San Mateo was a Cloud EDMS solution, a conversion and migration of their
old SIRE legacy system to Laserfiche. In addition, they required a Trusted System including Records
Management and implementation of their Retention Schedules. The contract award was $138,082.00,
including 20 full and 30 read-only users, Public Portal Records Management and WORM storage. The
City also opted for VIP support.

The City of Huntington Beach was also looking to replace SIRE with either OnBase or Laserfiche. They did
not go to RFP but got 3 quotes: OnBase, ECS and CPS. They had 1.6 TB of data from SIRE. The City
decided to go with CPS for an initial $105,000.00 contract, including VIP support. Project started in
August of 2018. Since the city invested another $200,000.00 in users and eForms. It has since
implemented Records Management and WORM device with one device on premises and a replication

into the cloud to become a Trusted system. Their configuration includes 100 full named and 190 form
users, retention schedules and a few Quick Fields instances to automate capture.

The City of Livermore originally purchased their Laserfiche system from ECS Imaging.
After going through the Sys Check process and a few conversations, it was determined that it would be
beneficial to the city to move their 30 Full User Laserfiche Rio system to Laserfiche Cloud. Once this was
determined a purchase was made to expand the system with an additional 100 Full Users and 40
Participant Users as the software continued to spread throughout the city. The system is currently
empowered with Laserfiche Vault and Records Management Edition as well, which is tied to their
approved Records Retention Policy. With such a successful transfer of Laserfiche Support, the city
entered into a 3-year contract in the amount of $241,584.00. The PD is on self -hosted subscription.
Since the City added 50 more full users and 50 Participant and entered a new 3-year contract last year.

City of Santa Clarita had Liberty to convert. They were already using Laserfiche with another provider
(Cities Digital) at the time we approached them. The interesting comment we received from the City was
that several Laserfiche providers had approached them, including ECS and none of them were able to
convert Liberty along with the metadata... so just the images.

CPS got the conversion done and Santa Clarita switched over to CPS as their solution provider of record.
The City currently has the Laserfiche Avante system with 105 named users, 350 eForm users, Forms
Portal and 25 read only users Public Portal. We designed a Public Request business process and City
developed over 350 Forms to streamline their business processes. Here is a webinar we did with the City
of Forms. We implemented their retention schedules. The City has also VIP support. They are currently
looking to migrate to self -hoisted subscription.
