Thanks for your comments on this. We will be working with them on the
design throughout the process. I’m not sure about the existing pool design
or when it was built. If you have further comments, please feel free to email

Hello Cheri. Thankyou for the information. I didnt want to get back to you until after the
Resort Pool meeting which I attended last night. Although I wasn't thrilled with the overall
design, I wondered if the exterior of the pool shape, which was unique, was purposely
designed with an Art Deco look which was prevalent in the 1920s and 30s.
My main concern along with many of the attendees of the meeting was the "Slide",
(attached). Not only was the 30' structure completely non conforming to the historical
aspects of Morgan House, its position in front of the Tennis Villas on the south side of
Avenida Fernando along with moving the pickleball courts one court down to the west will
not only seriously devalue their quality of life, but also the value of their properties and I'm
hoping the city could do something about that. I asked if they could move the
Pickleball courts to an area of 2 tennis courts located next to the fitness center where
homeowners wouldn't be a[ected along with if the slide could be moved to the north east

corner of the pool design switching places with the kids play pool. I pretty much got a run
around response on both. I'm hoping the city will play "hardball" with the REsort and can
come to a design decision that will be agreeable to all! I'll be following along with the bulk
of homeowners the "process" over the next few months.
