I am copying the City's lead planner on this correspondence so that there is a clear record of my request for information and my desire to better understand the proposal and its potential impacts before engaging in further discussions. As a homeowner whose property may be directly and significantly affected by the current plans, I am willing to review information regarding the project and any alternatives that may be under consideration. However, before agreeing to a meeting, I respectfully request that the matters you wish to discuss be provided in writing. Specifically, I would appreciate receiving: • The current site and construction plans. • A description of the project elements proposed near my property. • Any alternatives, modifications, or directional changes currently being considered. • The specific concerns or questions for which homeowner input is being sought. • The anticipated timeline for City review, approvals, and project milestones. Given the importance of this project and its potential impact on neighboring homeowners, I believe it is important to have a clear written understanding of the issues before engaging in further discussions. Written communication will allow me to carefully review the information, consult with appropriate advisors if necessary, and provide informed feedback. I am particularly concerned about the potential effects on the quiet enjoyment, privacy, use, and value of my property. These are significant considerations that deserve thoughtful review and documentation before any further discussions take place. I would also appreciate clarification regarding homeowner outreach. Have all homeowners whose properties may be affected by the proposed project been contacted and provided with information regarding the current plans and potential impacts? If so, I would appreciate a description of the nature and timing of those communications. I am additionally concerned about the timing of this proposal. Much of the ownership community at the resort is seasonal, and many homeowners have already left the area for the summer. As a result, there is a risk that a significant number of affected homeowners may be unaware of the project's scope, timeline, and potential impacts as happened in summer 2024 with the build out of “The Grove”. I would appreciate information regarding what steps have been taken to ensure homeowners have a meaningful opportunity to review the proposal and provide input before decisions are finalized or approvals are sought. For these reasons, I would prefer that substantive project proposals, concerns, and requested homeowner feedback be communicated in writing whenever possible. Having a written record helps ensure that all parties are working from the same information and reduces the possibility of misunderstandings. Once I have received and reviewed the requested materials, I will be happy to consider whether a meeting would be productive and what topics may warrant further discussion. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. I look forward to receiving the requested information. He has requested a zoom meeting. I wanted to ensure that the Planning Department is aware of the concerns and information requests raised in the letter, as well as my interest in understanding the anticipated review process and timeline for upcoming project decisions. Thank you for your time and attention. I appreciate any information you can provide regarding future opportunities for homeowner input and the anticipated schedule for review of this project. Sincerely, Patty Keller
