When will the Cert be approved by Caltrans HQ and FHWA? Not sure at this moment but I’m hoping this is enough to get the RFA approved.
Can we consider the ROW Cert approved for the HBP Survey that is due tomorrow? No but this should have no impact since the project is still consider as “nearly ready to advertise” which
affects the project in a positive way in terms of programming.
Do you still have time to process the RFA AC this federal fiscal year to avoid more delays? I hope so. I just forwarded to HQ Implementation. Since this is AC I don’t anticipate it to
be rejected.

Hi Eddie,
The City of La Quinta has finalized the PS&E and is ready to advertise the Dune Palms Road Bridge Project, BR-NBIL(537). The project is programmed with AC funding in the most recently
approved HBP Program and FTIP and the City has signed the AC Funding Request (LAPM 3I) along with the 3A and other applicable attachments.
Please note that the construction includes relocation of utility water and sewer facilities that had prior rights. The signed FHWA Specific Authorization is also included with this
request for Utility Relocation Authorization that will be performed by the bridge contractor.
The City also submitted the ROW Certification on June 21. A copy of this is included with the attached request. Separately attached is the DBE Goal (Excel) and signed cover pages for
the final Plans and Specifications.
