Subject: Dune Palms Bridge Project Constriction Management and Inspection
Services Consultant Selection Interview
Dear Mr. Smith:
Congratulations. Your firm was selected as a finalist by the Consultant Selection
Committee to provide construction management and inspection services for the
Dune Palms Road Bridge Project, City Project No. 2011-05 and Federal Project No.
BRKLS-5433(014). Interviews are scheduled to be conducted virtually on Tuesday,
January 18, 2022, via ZOOM. The following schedule is assigned:
8:20 a.m. to 9:10 a.m.
Each interview has been allotted 50 minutes and will generally be conducted as
follows:
Introductions - 5 minutes
Consultant presentation - 20 minutes
Questions and answers - 20 minutes
Wrap up – 5 minutes
Please address the following questions within your presentation:
1. What specific take away(s) do you want the City to have from your previously
stated Project Approach and Project Understanding?
2. Please summarize your preliminary constructability review of the project.
3. What do you see as the biggest challenge to a successful completion of this
project?
4. Is your firm Ready, Willing and Able to perform the work:
a. Is your Team available for the Project duration?
b. Are you willing to sign the City’s Agreement for Contract Services?
c. Do you (Prime) and all Subconsultants have an approved Caltrans A&I
Acceptance Number for a recent project subject to Caltrans LAPM Chapter
10 Requirements.
5. What if any changes/additions would you make to your proposed scope of
work?
