Dear Mr. McKinney,
Thank you for your continued collaboration on the CV Link project. As you know, we are working
with Caltrans on obtaining right-of-way certifications for Segment 1 of CV Link. Part of this effort
includes obtaining concurrence from the City of La Quinta that it will 1) acknowledge the City
retains ownership of the right-of-way; 2) continue to maintain the right-of-way; and 3) issue
encroachment permits, as allowed under the City's administrative authority, for the list of
segments related to CV Link that encroach on city right-of-way. This will provide a follow-up to
your previous concurrence, and provides additional clarity as it pertains to Segment 1 for CV
Link where it crosses a public right-of-way.
The sheets that show segments that encroach on city right-of-way are highlighted in the Index of
Sheets and included in the attached package.
Please confirm the above items related to CV Link by signing below at your earliest
convenience and returning the letter to me.
I have reviewed the plans and concur with the design Date: k 7- i 20
