A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF EISENHOWER DRIVE.
The City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of La Quinta does
hereby declare its intention to vacate the southeasterly 21 feet
of Eisenhower Drive between Avenida Fernando South) and San
Vincente Street. Said real property is particularly described
in Exhibit Y*AYt attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference. A map designating the portion of said drive and
boulevard to be vacated is attached hereto as Exhibit B" and
incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of La Quinta does
hereby elect to declare its intention for the vacation of the
above-mentioned portion of the street pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 3, commencing with Section 8317 of the Streets and
Highways Code of California, known as the Street Vacation Act of
1941.
SECTION 3: Be it further resolved that the 2ndday of
August, 1988, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. is hereby fixed as the
time when, and the Council Chambers at the City hall, 78-105
Calle Estado, La Quinta, California, as the place where, any
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation will
be heard.
SECTION 4: Notices of vacation shall be posted conspicuously
along the street at least two weeks prior to the date of
hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet
apart, but at least three 3) such notices shall be posted on
the property proposed to be vacated.
a) The Notice to Vacate those interests in property
referred to above shall substantially contain the following:
All persons are hereby notified that on the 21st day of
June, 1988, the City Council of the City of La Quinta did
pass a resolution of intention as follows:
To close and vacate the southeasterly 21 feet of
Eisenhower Drive between Avenida Fernando South)
and
San Vincente Street, an existing dedicated street,

All persons are further notified that a hearing will
be held at 7:30 P.M. on the 2nd day of August, 1988,
at the Council Chambers in City Hall, 78-105 Calle
Estado, La Quinta, California, at which time and place
any person interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation will be heard.

SECTION 5: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City
Clerk certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and
shall cause the same to be published or posted in the manner
prescribed for the publication and posting of resolutions of the
City Council at least two 2) successive weeks prior to the
hearing.

All that portion of a strip of land 21.00 feet wide lying Westerly,
Northwesterly, Northerly, and adjoining the Easterly, Southeasterly and
Southerly Line of Lot T'* Eisenhower Drive formerly Avenida Serra) of La
Quinta Golf Estates Unit No. 1 as shown by map on file in Book 37 of Maps at
Pages 96 through 98, thereof, Records of Riverside County, State of California,
said line being described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Lot *T*;
a) Thence N00*Ol'30*W along the Easterly line of said Lot T" a distance of 200.00
feet to the point of being of the line being described, said point also being
the point of compound curvature in the West line of Lot 115 of said La Quinta
Golf Estates Unit No. 1, said point hereinafter referred to as Point *A*;
CO Thence Northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot *T" on a curve
concave Southersterly having a radius of 1950.00 feet through an angle of
89*59'30", an arc length of 3062.77 feet;
Thence N89058*OO*E along the Southerly line of said Lot * a distance of
