CC Resolution 1996-094^ Mc RESOLUTION 96-94 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 96-77, ADOPTING THE FEE SCHEDULE TO TITLE 9 THE MUNICIPAL CODE ZONING" TITLE 9 FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the State Government Code provides that fees may be collected to cover the cost of administering permits, plan review, and inspection activities. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta has adopted Section 5.64.040 of the La Quinta Municipal Code in 1 982, establishing the provision to adopt fees by resolution for the processing of such permits, reviews, and inspections. WHEREAS, this action is exempt under California Environmental Quality Act CEQA), Article 1 8, Statutory Exemptions, Section 1 5273(a) Rates, Tolls, Fares, & Charges." WHEREAS, this hearing to set fees was duly noticed pursuant to Government Code Section 6601 6, Local agency fees; new fees and increases; procedures. WHEREAS, the City commissioned David M. Griffith & Associates to prepare the Fee Study Analysis presented in the staff report, incorporated herein, and available for public review, WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that the study provides adequate evidence to conclude that the amount of the fees are less than the administrative cost to provide the service, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of La Quinta California, does hereby resolve to amend and revise Resolution 96-77 as follows: establish a Fee Schedule as contained in Exhibit A" and made a part hereof.
