MINUTES
JULY 7, 1992
Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to
order by Chairman Pena.
PRESENT: Mrs. Franklin, Mr. Rushworth, Mr. Sniff, Chairman Pena
ABSENT: Mr. Bohnenberger
MOTION It was moved by Mr. Sniff, seconded by Mrs. Franklin that
Mr. Bohnenberger be excused. Motion carried unanimously.
APP?OVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION It was moved by Mr. Sniff, seconded by Mrs. Franklin that
the Minutes of June 16, 1992 be approved as submitted. Motion
carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT None
BUSINESS SESSION
1. CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSAL OF LA QUINTA ARTS FOUNDATION.
MOTION It was moved by Mrs. Franklin, seconded by Mr. Sniff
to approve the contract with the La Quinta Arts Foundation for
1992-93 in the amount of $25,000 to be funded by the
Redevelopment Agency. Motion carried unanimously.
2. CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT TO LA QUINTA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
CONTRACT.
MOTION It was moved by Mrs. Franklin, seconded by Mr. Sniff
to approve the agreement with the La Quinta Chamber of
Commerce for 1992-93 in the amount of $62,?00 to be funded by
the Redevelopment Agency. Motion carried unanimously.
3. CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSALS SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THE
REQUEST PURSUANT TO THE OWNER/PARTICIPATION PROCESS FOR
PROPERTIES INVOLVED IN THE PROPOSED LA QUINTA CANYON CENTER.
Mr. Genovese advised that the Agency has received a proposal,
which staff is in the process of reviewing. He asked that
this matter be continued tabled.

MOTION It was Moved by Mr. Sniff, seconded by Mrs. Franklin
that the matter of proposals pursuant to the
owner/participation process relative to the La Quinta Canyon
Center be tabled. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC HEARINGS None
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF DEMAND REGISTER.
2. AWARD OF BID FOR PROJECT NO. 92-11 SEWER CONNECTIONS TO
HENDRICKSON CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,753.
MOTION It was moved by Mrs. Franklin, seconded by Mr. Sniff
that the Consent Calendar be approved as submitted. Motion
carried unanimously.
