SUBJECT: TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 2016-0023: BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY SIDEWALK SALE
Dear Ms. Burns:
The Design and Development Department has reviewed and approved your request to hold a
sidewalk sale at the Berkshire Hathaway property at 78-558 Highway 111. The approval of the
event is granted under Section 9.100.130 of the La Quinta Municipal Code subject to the following
Conditions of Approval:
The event shall be held between 7:00am and 10:00am on November 12, 2016.
The event area shall be monitored and secured at all times.
3. The event shall be contained within the parking lot area as identified on the plans
submitted as part of this application.
4. Roadways, parking areas, and pedestrian and vehicular traffic aisles to other businesses
and activities in the vicinity shall be maintained accessible at all times.
5. The site shall be left clean and in its original manner at the conclusion of the event.
By holding this event, the applicant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of La
Quinta in the event of any legal claim or litigation arising out of the City's approval of this project.
The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its defense counsel at its sole discretion.
Adherence to these conditions, as outlined, will ensure that adverse impacts to surrounding
properties and businesses will be minimized. The City may elect to add conditions to this
application to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein.
