She advised that since the lien has shown up on some search done, to release it, the property owner must go to the County Tax Collector (not Selene's dept) to pay it directly and get it released. That Isnot something the City does. I would give the owner City Resolution 99-105 to take with them, and return their check. Also advise them to bring whatever doc alerted them that the Hen existed because that will help the County find the lien faster. Apparently when we record the lien ourselves, we can release it but when we ask RIVCO to add It to the tax bill, only RIVCO can release it once they have proof of payment.
