CRM Tech described the property as a Ranch style single-family residence in 2006. It is Tract Ranch style dwelling. The residence has an "L" shaped plan with a very low-pitched cross-gable roof. The front gable end has an exterior support beam and two fixed windows set into the roofline. Exterior walls are clad in stucco. The house has an attached garage. At the front elevation there are two horizontal sliding windows and two glass sliding doors. Since the previous survey, a high privacy wall has been constructed. Based on what is visible there does not appear to have been any significant alterations. The cross gable roofline and horizontal sliding windows are extant. Updated Significance: A prior survey evaluated the property as status code 6Z - found ineligible for NRHP, CRHR, and Local Register designation. The current survey found that the dwelling is associated with the theme of Residential Development (1934- 1970s), but it does not possess individual documented significance in relation to this theme. While the dwelling is located within the proposed La Quinta Cove Historic District, it is a non-contributor due to its architectural style and date of construction. The dwelling has not been found individually eligible under NRHP/CRHR/Local Criterion A/1/B, as it has not been associated with significant events or patterns of events in local, regional, state, or national history; not individually eligible under Criterion B/2/B, as it has not been identified as having an association with an important person; not individually eligible under Criterion C/3/C, as it does not embody the distinctive characteristics of a type, period, or method of construction; and not individually eligible under Criterion D/4/D, as further study of the dwelling would not appear to yield information which could be considered important in local, regional, state, or national history. Additionally, the property was not found to be individually eligible under Local Register Criterion A, as it was not found to exemplify a special element of the City of La Quinta. Due to limited visibility during the current survey, the integrity of the dwelling could not be determined. Built on a concrete slab foundation, the wood-framed, L-shaped residence is topped by a low-pitched, cross-gabled roof covered with asphalt and gray gravel, and wide, boxed eaves shelter walls sheathed in stucco. Fenestration consists of aluminum-framed, sliding windows, and the entrance is one of two pairs of sliding glass doors sheltered by the front eave overhang on the asymmetrical façade. *P3b.
