A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING A GIFT
WHEREAS, on October 8, 2002, the National Park Service generously
donated to GEMcar with a retail value of $3,073; and
WHEREAS, the GEMcar was donated to the City of La Quinta and was
not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation of the GEMcar to be used as deemed appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of a
GEMcar by the National Park Service.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the La Quinta City Council at a
regular meeting this 5th day of November, 2002 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Adolph, Henderson, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Pe~a
