A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CASH DONATION FROM ROSENOW
SPEVACEK GROUP, INC., FOR THE EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION
BANQUET
WHEREAS, on November 26, 2002, Rosenow Spevacek Group Inc., generously
offered a cash donation of $300.00 to the City for the Employee Recognition Banquet,
to be held December 14, 2002 at the La Quinta Mountain and Dunes Club House in
La Quinta, California; and,
WHEREAS, the gift was donated to the City and its personnel and was not given
to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the cash donation of
$300.00.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said
cash donation.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta City
Council held on this 3`d day of December, 2002, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: One Vacancy
ABSTAIN: None
