A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, TO INCREASE
THE COMPENSATION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, the City Council has set the compensation level for City
Boards, Commissions and Committees as indicated in the La Quinta Charter
and Municipal Code Section 2.06.050.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to increase the compensation of
the Planning Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City Council hereby increases the compensation of the Planning
Commissioners for meeting attendance by $25.00 per meeting to $100.00,
with a monthly maximum compensation of $200.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La
Quinta City Council held on this 5th day of August, 2003, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Osborne, Perkins, Mayor Adolph
NOES: Council Members Henderson, Sniff
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
