CC Resolution 2017-053RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - 053 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING BUILDING INSPECTOR WORKING TITLE TO BUILDING INSPECTOR II AND CREATE BUILDING INSPECTOR I POSITION WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved and adopted the 2017/18 Classification Plan; and WHEREAS, the City's Personnel Policy Section 2.05, Preparation and Amendment of Classification Plan, requires amendments to the Classification Plan be adopted by a Resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, amendment of the Building Inspector working title and position to Building Inspector II; and creation of a Building Inspector I, will allow the City to achieve benefits and efficiencies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La Quinta, California, as follows: SECTION 1. The City does hereby approve and adopt the revisions to the Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2017/18, attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and incorporated herein by reference. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta City Council held on this 17th day of October, 2017, by the following vote: AYES: Council Members Fitzpatrick, Pena, Radi, Sanchez,
