RESOLUTION NO. 2005-023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS
FROM WINDERMERE REAL TV AND CHICAGO TITLE
COMPANY FOR THE ANNUAL EGG HUNT AND CHALK
DRAWING CONTEST
WHEREAS, on March 26, 2005, Windermere Realty and Chicago Title
Company generously offered to donate $250 each in cash and up to $250 for
prizes and supplies to be used for the annual Egg Hunt and Chalk Drawing Contest;
and
WHEREAS, the gifts were offered for donation to the City of La Guinta and
were not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donations of $ 250 each in cash
and up to $ 250 in prizes and supplies from Windermere Realty and Chicago Title
Company to be used for the annual Egg Hunt and Chalk Drawing Contest.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 15th day of March, 2005, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Adolph

ABSTAIN: None
