RESOLUTION NO. 2005-045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINT A, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM THE LA QUINT A ROT ARYCLUB FOR BLEACHERS
FOR THE SPORTS COMPLEX
WHEREAS, On June 7, 2005 the La Ouinta Rotary Club generously offered
to donate $2,000 for bleachers for the Sports Complex; and
WHEREAS, The gift was offered for donation to the City of La Quinta and
was not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Guinta to accept the
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counèil of the City of
La Guinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of $2,000- from the La
OuintaRotary Club for bleachers for the Sports Complex.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this day of June 7, 2005, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
