RESOLUTION NO. 2005-048
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM THE LA QUINT A SPORTS AND YOUTH
ASSOCIATION FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF BLEACHERS
AND SHADE STRUCTURES FOR THE SPORTS COMPLEX
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2005, the La Quinta Sports and Youth Association
generously offered to donate $6,000 for improvements of bleachers and shade
structures for the Sports Complex; and
WHEREAS, the gift was offered for donation to the City of La Quinta and
was not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of $6,000 from the
La Quinta Sports and Youth Association for improvements of bleachers and shade
structures for the Sports Complex.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 21 st day of June, 2005, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
