RESOLUTION NO. 2005-073
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS
FROM WINDERMERE REALTY AND CHICAGO TITLE
COMPANY FOR THE ANNUAL TINY TOT HALLOWEEN
CARNIV AL
WHEREAS, on September 27, 2005, Windermere Realty and Chicago Title
Company generously offered to donate $1 50 each in cash and up to $1 50 for
prizes and supplies to be used for the annual Tiny Tot Halloween Carnival; and
WHEREAS, the gifts were offered for donation to the City of La 'Quinta and
were not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donations of $1 50 each in cash
and up to $1 50 in prizes and supplies from Windermere Realty and Chicago Title
Company to be used for the annual Tiny Tot Halloween Carnival.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 4th day of October, 2005, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Perkins
ABSTAIN: None
