RESOLUTION NO. 2005-089
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING COMPLIMENTARY
PASSES FOR THE MERRILL LYNCH SKINS GAME
WHEREAS, Shea Homes/Trilogy at La Quinta has generously donated to the
City, a gift of complimentary passes for the 2005 Skins Game golf tournament to be
held November 25 through November 27, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the gifts have been donated to the City and its personnel and not
given to, or limited to the use of, any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament passes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Guinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
1 . The City of La Guinta hereby accepts the donation of
complimentary passes for the 2005 Skins Game golf tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said
tournament passes on a first-come, first-serve basis.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Guinta City
Council, held this 15th day of November 2005, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Perkins
ABSTAIN: None
