46370 Cameo Palms Drive DPR 523L (09/2013) Identifier: 643182028 Date Constructed: 1933 UTM Zone: 11S, 565289 mE / 3730418 mN Neighborhood: Highland Palms Tract: TR 02043; Recorded September 30, 1960, MB 41/7 Owner and Address: Glenn A. Myers; 46370 Cameo Palms Drive, La Quinta CA 92253 Updated Description: The 46370 Cameo Palms Drive residence was constructed in 1933 within the boundaries of the Point Happy Ranch. The dwelling was moved to the Highland Palms neighborhood by 1975. It was originally recorded in 1997 by Mellon and Associates. Between 2004 and 2005, the dwelling was demolished and replaced with a contemporary-era residence constructed in a Post-Modern style. The current dwelling first appears on a 2005 aerial of the surrounding area. There do not appear to be any extant components of the 1933 residence on the property because a stucco privacy wall did not allow for an adequate determination of integrity. Updated Significance: A prior survey evaluated the property as status code 5S3 - Appears to be individually eligible for local listing or designation through survey evaluation. The dwelling on the property that was initially recorded in 1997 by Mellon and Associates was demolished between 2004 and 2005. The property was replaced by a new single family residence by 2005. The 2022 evaluation is that the property should instead be assigned a 6Z status code: Found ineligible for NRHP, CRHR or Local Register through survey evaluation, because the historic resource is no longer extant. Due to limited visibility, the previous removal of all historic elements of the previous dwelling components could not be confirmed. However, any remaining historic materials would lack historic integrity of location, design, setting, materials, workmanship, and feeling. Thus, the any remaining historic dwelling components would not be eligible for listing in the NRHP, CRHR, or Local Register under any criteria.
