RESOLUTION NO. 2006-010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
lA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
COMPLIMENTARY PASSES FOR THE FRANK SINATRA
COUNTRYWIDE CELEBRITY INVITATIONAL GOLF
TOURNAMENT
WHEREAS, the Frank Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational has
generously donated to the City, a gift of complimentary passes for the 2006 Frank
Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational golf tournament to be held February 24
and 25, 2006 at the Indian Wells Country Club; and
WHEREAS, the gifts have been donated to the City and its personnel and not
given to, or limited to the use of, any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament passes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Ouinta does hereby
resolve as follows:
1 . The City of La Ouinta hereby accepts the donation of
complimentary passes for the 2006 Frank Sinatra Countrywide
Celebrity Invitational golf tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of
said tournament passes on a first-come, first-serve basis.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council, held this 7th day of February, 2006, by the following vote:

Council Members Henderson, Osborne, Sniff, Mayor Adolph

None
ABSENT:
