Before the landscape. and irrigation plan for the model homes can be approved by this Department, please obtain written approval from the Coachella Valley Water District ensuring water conservation measures and plant materials are acceptable for this climate. 2. Obtain a building permit to construct garage sales office and design center improvements (Lots 50 and 52). Prior to obtaining a building permit, post with the Community Development Department a Certificate of Deposit in the amount of $1,000.00 to insure removal of the sales facility improvements upon completion of their use. The Certificate shall name the City as having a controlling interest over the release of the funds, and the Certificate shall be automatically renewed at six-month intervals unless released in writing by this Department. Funds deposited will be released to you when all sales office and design center improvements have been removed. 3. Obtain a building permit(s) to construct recreational amenities and perimeter walls for the under construction model houses. 4. Mounted on the exterior of the sales office front door shall be a written notice providing emergency personnel your 24-hour emergency phone number they can call in case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e., minimum 1" high letters). 5. This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission provided the necessary paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 are filed with this office within 15 days.
