An inspection of the trailer was made on September 2, 1999, wherein it was observed that the trailer did not comply with three of the original Conditions of Approval. There was no 24-hour emergency sign near the trailer door as required'in Condition No. 3; there was a temporary financing institution sign attached to the trailer that is not approved or allowed; and there is no skirting around the trailer as required by Condition No. 8. 1 have attached a copy of the original approval for your information. During my inspection, I spoke with Mr. Steve Gabrielson who stated that the trailer would be needed at this site for another six weeks. The Community Development Department has approved a first time extension until October 15, 1999, after which the trailer must be removed or be in full compliance with the original Conditions of Approval. This six-week time extension, in accordance with Section 9.200.080 of the Zoning Ordinance, is subject to the following conditions: 1. Removal of the temporary construction trailer is required on October 15, 1999, unless another time extension is applied for and granted by this Department. The Community Development Director may extend the permit for another six- month period if construction activities are still occurring. No fee is charged to extend this permit. 2. If additional time is needed beyond October 15, 1999, the trailer must fully comply with all of the original conditions of approval of MUP 99-120. The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein. Temporary landscaping is not required to screen the trailer if the site is kept clean and free of construction debris. This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission provided the necessary paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 are filed with this office within 15 days. Obtain a building permit including an electrical permit for temporary power. 2. Provide restroom facilities to accommodate on-site construction workers. 3. Mounted on the exterior of the trailer close to the front door shall be a written notice providing emergency personnel you 24-hour emergency phone number they can call in case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e., minimum 1" high letters). 4. Install one 2A1013C fire extinguisher inside the trailer by the front exit door. 5. No temporary signs are permitted unless separately approved by this Department. 6. Removal of the temporary construction trailer is required on September 1, 1999, unless a time extension is applied for and granted by this Department. The Community Development Director may extend the permit for another six- month period if construction activities are still occurring. No fee is charged to. extend this permit. 7. Dust control measures shall be employed if construction parking is allowed adjacent to the trailer. 8.
