The request for one 8' x 20' construction trailer on Lots 8 and 9, at 51 195 and 51205 Avenida Velasco, is approved provided the following conditions are met: 1. The trailer shall be removed on or before February 12, 2000, unless an extension is applied for and approved by this Department. There is no fee to extend the permit, provided that the original provisions and conditions of the permit are maintained. 2. No set-up of the trailer shall be permitted until a building permit is issued for at least one of the two locations. Obtain a building permit including an electrical permit for temporary power. 3. This approval is for location of the construction office trailer only. It does not allow establishment of any storage/staging areas. The site shall be kept clean and free of construction debris. 4. Provide restroom facilities to accommodate on-site construction workers. 5. Any temporary lighting shall be directed away from surrounding residential properties and properly shielded. 6. Install one 2A10BC fire extinguisher inside the trailer by the front exit door. 7. One maximum 2' x 3' trailer -mounted sign shall be placed close to the front door, displaying a 24-hour emergency phone number (minimum 1 " high letters) for emergency personnel use in problems arise that need prompt attention. The sign shall include the temporary or permanent site address, and may include the company name only for the purpose of identification. No other signs are permitted unless required for life safety purposes. 9. The applicant/developer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of La Quinta from any legal claim or litigation. arising out of the City's approval of this project. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select defense counsel at its sole discretion. The City may impose additional conditions to this application to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein. This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission provided the necessary paperwork and fee of $175.00 are filed with this office within 15 days of the date of this approval letter.
