The shooting of fireworks for a private party will be done on the golf driving range and conducted by a licensed company in pyrotechnics. Therefore, no problems are anticipated which would be detrimental to the community based on the recommended conditions. A similar fireworks display was allowed the last two years and no problems were observed. B. This project is categorically exempt under Section 15304 (Class 4(e)) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because the outdoor event is being conducted on an existing golf course driving range and no permanent environmental impacts are expected. C. Provisions are being made to ensure that surrounding property owners will not be adversely affected by this special event as required by the Fire Department. The following Conditions of Approval shall be completed one week prior to the event: 1 . Obtain a permit from the Riverside County Fire Department. If you have any questions, the Riverside County Fire Department personnel can be reached by calling 863-8886 (i.e., Planning and Engineering). 2. All property owners within 500 feet of the Citrus Resort and Club shall be mailed a notice informing them of the special event. A copy of the notice shall be given to the Community Development Department. Additional Conditions of Approval are: 3.
