Box 1504 78-495 CALLE TAMPICO LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA 92253 January 28, 2003 Mr. Joe Swain La Quinta Del Oro 147, LP 5005 Calle San Raphael, Suite B-1 Palm Springs, CA 92264 (760) 777-7000 FAX (760) 777-7101 SUBJECT: MINOR USE PERMIT 2003-381 (LA QUINTA DEL ORO) Dear Mr. Swain: The Community Development Department has approved your request to install a maximum six foot high chain link fence with green mesh around your La Quinta Del Oro project (Tract 30521) located northeast of the intersection of Washington Street and Miles Avenue, as shown on the attached plan, subject to the following conditions: Obtain a building permit for the temporary fence if required by the Building and Safety Department. 2. No temporary signs are permitted unless separately approved by this Department. 3. Construction access gates in the fence shall be limited to Washington Street, Miles Avenue and Via Sevilla where it intersects Via Del Sol (Lot 141), subject to approval by the Public Works Department. 4. The chain link fence shall be allowed to remain for a one year period from the date of this letter. Should additional time be needed, the applicant shall file an extension of time prior to the expiration of this permit. 5. The fence shall be placed so as to not obstruct vehicular visibility or pedestrian access along Washington Street and Miles Avenue. 6. The wood fence along Via Sevilla adjacent to the property shall be removed immediately by the developer if determined by the City that the chain link fence is not compatible with the wood fence.
