Stoker La Quinta Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 44267 Monterey Avenue Palm Desert, California 92260 SUBJECT: MINOR USE PERMIT 2003-412 (TEMPORARY SECURITY TRAILER) Dear Mr. Stoker: (760) 777-7000 FAX (760) 777-7101 The Community Development Department has reviewed your request to establish a temporary security trailer at 46-300 Dune Palms Road for La Quinta Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and has approved the project subject to the enclosed plan and the following conditions: 1. Obtain a building permit including an electrical permit for temporary power, if necessary. 2. This permit shall expire one year from the date of this letter. 3. Provide restroom facilities to accommodate personnel. 4. Mounted on the exterior of the trailer close to the front door shall be a written notice providing emergency personnel your 24-hour emergency phone number they can call in case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e., minimum 1 " high letters). 5. Install one 2A10BC fire extinguisher inside the trailer by the front exit door. 6. No temporary signs are permitted unless separately approved by this Department. 7. A minimum of two off-street parking spaces shall be provided for the trailer. 9. Removal of the trailer is required within 30 days of expiration of. this permit. If a time extension is needed, the applicant shall apply for such extension at the Community Development Department. The Community Development Director may extend the permit for another six-month period if construction activities are still occurring. No fee is charged to extend this permit. 10. Emergency access to the trailer shall be maintained at all times. 1 1. Trailer skirting shall -be installed within 30 days if the trailer is mounted above finished grade level, unless a Recreational Vehicle is used. 12. The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein. This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission by anyone provided they submit the necessary paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 with this office within 15 days of approval of this permit.
