Our Department has approved your request subject to the exhibits on file and the following Conditions: 1. Prior to use of the properties as office space, a cash deposit in the amount of $1,000.00 shall be posted with the Planning Department to insure the removal of the improvements once the permit has expired or the use terminated as required by LQMC 9.60.250. The deposit will be refunded when all applicable office improvements have been removed. 2. If building permits are required, contact the Building and Safety Department at (760) 777-7012 for permit requirements. 3. Provide restroom facilities as necessary to accommodate personnel, if not provided within the units themselves. 4. The construction offices shall be permitted to remain until October 29, 2008, unless a time extension is applied for and granted by this Department. The Planning Director may extend the permit for a set time period if needed. No fee is charged to extend this permit. 8. The applicant/property owner agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of La Quinta (the "City"), it's agents, officers and employees from any claim, or litigation arising out of the City's approval of this project. This indemnification shall include any award toward attorney's fees. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its defense counsel in its sole discretion. The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein.
