At that time, you had said most wireless modifications require a Minor Use Permit, but you wanted to take a look at the plans to confirm the process. I now have plans for Verizon's project at 54005 Madison Street (Fire Station 70), which entails replacing 12 panel antennas, installing 3 remote radio units (mounted behind the antennas), and the installation of a junction box on the existing monopalm. The overall antenna count and facility height will remain unchanged. Please advise if this project will require a Minor Use Permit or other entitlement application. Thank you! I'm still trying to find out who at the City would review any lease changes that may be necessary but as yet I haven't gotten any response. As for the approval of the plans, that has to be done through a Minor Use Permit (application attached) for review/approval by the Community Development Director based on our Wireless Communication ordinance provisions. I was under the impression we had discussed that but apparently I was mistaken. The fee for the application is $200, and the plans you submitted can be used as they are for the application (requires filing of the fee, application form and the required plan sets as specified in the form). There is no public hearing associated with the application so you can ignore that portion, as well as any other provisions that may be inapplicable, as we use this form for a multitude of application types.
