SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A. The following shall be submitted by the Applicant to the Planning &
Development Department at the time of permit application unless otherwise
modified by the Planning Director:
1. Completed Sign application obtained from the City.
2. Appropriate sign plans with number of copies and exhibits as
required in the application.
3. Appropriate fees as established by Council resolution.
4. Letter of consent or authorization from property owner, or
lessor, or authorized agent of the building or premises upon
which the sign is to be erected.
B. Plans Required - Information required - the --:following information
must be shown on the sign plan:
1. Sign elevation drawing indicating overall and
letter/figure/design dimensions, colors, materials, proposed
copy and illumination method.
2. Site plan indicating the location of all main and accessory
signs existing or proposed for the site with dimensions,
color, material, copy and method of illumination indicated for
each.
3. Building elevations with signs depicted (for non -freestanding
signs).

Dear Mr Gibbs:
Your request for approval of a six-month time extension for "The Estates at La Quinta" subdivision
flags on the west side of Monroe Street between 54th Avenue and Airport Boulevard,'approval is
approved in accordance with the current Subdivision Flag Policy: The location of the;flags, adjacent
to each side of the entrance at Mountain View Lane, is acceptable. No other flags may be used for
advertising purposes. Expiration date for the flags is extended to October 23, ,1996. '
With regards to your Sign Permit request for the subdivision sign existing on the south side of
Mountain View Lane at Monroe Street, we have determined that it may be approved for a one-year
period of time as a semi -permanent sign under Section 9.160.070 of the Municipal Code. Please note
that this Section requires that free-standing signs not exceed eight feet in height and please reduce, r
the signs height .if they exceed the height limit. You may reapply for a time extension of up to one
year for this sign.
