On January 23, 1996, the City of La Quinta Community Development Department received
your faxed letter requesting approval to install temporary flag bunting along Washington
Street for the upcoming Newsweek/Evert Chip Tennis Tournament to be held in Indian
Wells' in February. This type of special off -site advertising is subject to Chapter 5.64 of the
Municipal. Code which requires Planning Commission review and approval of the request ' -
before installation. The Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Upon receipt of a revised letter with a check for $1U0.00, our staff will schedule your project
for the next available meeting. All bunting along Highway 111 is subject to review and
approval by Caltrans.
