I started the process of merging the two lots on which our house is built.. Then I,discovered that the two lots are covered by one Assessor's Parcel Number: 773-243-004-4. We also, only, receive one tax statement 'for both lots. I discussed this with your staff, -as,, we] 1 as staff from the Ci't,y Engineer's office -According to all ofthem, the County seems to have merged the two lots once we built our house on them. Consequently, according to staff, the City will treat our property as one lot when assessments are made. I'm delighted I don't need to apply.for merger and fill out the various forms. However, I' wou-1 d` feel most comfortab] e if I could have confirmation of the "one lot status" in writing. It may matter when assessment -time -comes around. I'd appreciate a brief note to that fact from your -office. i By the way, I've found all staff most helpful and courteous in this process. (I had not met them before.)
