The Department has approved the adjustment request because it (1) is not detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of this area in that said adjustment is minor (18% of the house width) and not readily discernible, (2) does not exceed the 10% allowed by of the Zoning Code, and. (3) will not adversely affect the General Plan, which permits single family development on the property. Additionally, this request is exempt from review of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) based on the requirements of Environmental Assessment 96-327. The Precise Plot Plan for this Tract shall include this case number at the rear of the lot showing that an adjustment has been allowed by the City.
