A nonrefundable fee of $200 is required when the Application is submitted. The check must be made payable to the "City
of La Quinta". A Minor Adjustment Permit (Section 9.210.040/Zoning Ordinance) may be approved only for deviations
of up to ten percent of a numerical development standard (for example, a reduction of one foot from a ten=foot setback
requirement) or for deviations specifically identified in the La Quinta Zoning Ordinance. Other deviations shall require
consideration of a variance (pursuant to Section 9.210.030/Variance\Zoning Ordinance). If the Applicant is not the owner

Dear Mr. Meyer;
The Community -Development Department has reviewed your request to reduce the
rear yard setback from 15' to 14.14' and 14.37' for Lots 4 and 49 in Tract 25389-4
pursuant to Section 9.210.040 (Minor Adjusiments)'of the Zoning Ordinance. The
Department has approved the adjustment requests because they (1) are not
detrimental to the health, safety,and general welfare of this area in that said
adjustments are minor and not readily discernible, (2) do not exceed the 10% allowed
by of the Zoning Code, and (3) will not adversely affect the General Plan, which
permits single family. development on the property. Additionally., this request is
exemptfrom. review of the California Environmental- Quality Act. (CE QA) based on the
requirements of Specific'Plan 83-001 and EIR 83-061305.
