MINOR ADJUSTMENT REQUEST: To reduce the interior garage dimension from 20x20 feet to 18x20 feet, to allow a bonus room of adequate size for UBC requirements. DECISION: Approval is granted for the requested reduction, based on the following findings: • Minor Adjustment 2002-500 is consistent with the La Quinta General Plan, in that the reduction proposed does not alter the approved land use for the property, or affect land use on surrounding similar properties. • Minor Adjustment 2002-500 is consistent with the intent of the La Quinta Zoning Code, in that the requested adjustment does not affect the required 20- foot minimum setback at the garage area, and will not affect the minimum garage depth as required under the Zoning Code. • Processing and approval of Minor Adjustment 2002-500 is in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act.
