MINOR ADJUSTMENT REQUEST: To reduce the rear yard setback from 10 feet to 9' feet, to .rectify building foundation being set 1 foot into the rear setback area. . DECISION: Approval is granted for the requested reduction, based on the following findings: • Minor Adjustment 2004-544 is consistent with the La Quinta General Plan, in that the reduction proposed does not alter the approved land use for the property, or affect land use on surrounding similar properties. • Minor Adjustment 2004-544 is consistent with the intent of the La Quinta Zoning Code, in that the requested adjustment will retain adequate rear yard separations as required under said Zoning Code. • Processing and approval of Minor Adjustment 2004-544 is in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act. The adjustment requested falls under CEQA Guidelines Section 15305(a), which includes minor setback and parcel adjustments as Categorically Exempt. under this Section.
