RESOLUTION NO. 2006-109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINT A, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM LEGACY ROOMS EXPRESS TO THE LA QUINTA
SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, on October 3, 2006, Legacy Rooms Express generously offered a
donation of a Mitsubishi 57-inch DLP Flat Screen Television to be given to the La
Quinta Senior Center as a contribution to the community of senior residents in La
Quinta; and
WHEREAS, the gift was offered for donation to the City of La Quinta and
was not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation a Mitsubishi
57-inch DLP flat screen television from Legacy Room Express as a
contribution to the community of senior residents in La Quinta who
utilize the senior center.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 3rd day of October, 2006, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Kirk, Osborne, Mayor Pro Tem Sniff
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Adolph
ABSTAIN: None
