W~EREAS, the Frank Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational has
generously donated to the City, a gift of complimentary passes for the 2007 Frank
Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational golf tournament to be held February 23
and 24, 2007 at the Indian Wells Country Club; and

WHEREAS, the gifts have been donated to the City and its personnel and not
given to, or limited to the use of, any particular employe~ or official; and
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
COMPLIMENTARY RPASSES FOR THE FRANK SINATRA
COUNTRYWIDE CELEBRITY INVITATIONAL GOLF
TOURNAMENT

W~EREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the;City Manager to control distribution of the tournament passes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La
,
Quinta, California, as follows:
1 . The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of
complimentary passes for the 2007 Frank Sinatra
Countrywide Celebrity Invitation golf tournament.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control
distribution of said tournament passes on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
PA$SED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Coudcil held on this 6th day of February, 2007, by the following vote:
