RESOLUTION NO. 2007-024
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA aUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM COSTCO WHOLESALE FOR THE 25tH
ANNIVERSARY FIREWORKS SHOW
WHEREAS, On April 3, 2007, Costco Wholesal:e has generously offered to
donate $1,500 for the 25th Anniversary Fireworks Show; and
WHEREAS, The gift was offered for donation to the City of La Quinta and
was not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of $1,500 from Costco
Wholesale for the 25'h Anniversary Fireworks Show.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
.City Council held on this 3rd day of April, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Kirk, Osborne, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
