RESOLUTION NO. 2007-025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA aUINTA. CALIFORNIA. ACCEPTING A DONATION I
FROM BURRTEC WASTE INDUSTRIES FOR THE 25TH
ANNIVERSARY FIREWORKS SHOW
WHEREAS. On April 3, 2007, Surrtec Waste'lndustries has generously
offered to donate $1,500 for the 25th Anniversary Fireworks Show; and
WHEREAS. The gift was offered for donation to the City of La Ouinta and
was not given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Ouinta to accept the
donation.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Ouinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Ouinta hereby accepts the donation of $1,500 from Surrtec
Waste Industries for the 25th Anniversary Fireworks Show.
PASSED. APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Ouinta
City Council held on this 3rd day of April, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Henderson, Kirk, Osborne, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
