RESOLUTION NO. 2007-105
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA (lUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CASH
Dor~ATION FROM RUTAN AND TUCKER, ROSENOW
SPEVACEK GROUP INC., AND NAI CONSULTING, INC.
FOf;t THE EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION BANQUET
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2007, Rutan and Tucker, Rosenow Spevacek
Group Inc. and NAI Consulting, Inc. generously made cash donations of $750,
$750 and $300, respectively, to the City for the Employee Recognition Banquet to
be held on Dece,mber 8, 2007, at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa in La Ouinta,
California; and
WHEREAS, the gift was donated to the City and its personnel and was not
given to or limite,d to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest in the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the donation.
NOW, THIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Ouinta, California, as follows:
1. The City of La Ouinta hereby accepts the cash donations of $750,
$7!50, and $300.
2. Tho City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said
donation.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 20th day of November, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
