High Tech Irrigation
This agreement is made and entered into between the City of La Quinta and High Tech Irrigation.
PURPOSE:
To provide after hours emergency equipment rentals to the City 24/7/365 to enable the City to
provide continuity of government during emergency situations.
TERM:
The length of this agreement shall be five (5) years from the date of signing or until at which
time it is cancelled in writing by either party, which cancellation becomes effective 30 days
upon delivery to the other party.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The City of La Quinta will be responsible to:
a. make equipment and supply requests to High Tech Irrigation, by authorized City
staff
b. provide the locations and equipment & supply requirements in each request;
c. process invoice payments through normal finance office procedures, within 30
days upon receipt of invoice;
d. pay the normal rental rate for equipment;
e. assist High Tech Irrigation in delivery access by notifying law enforcement and/or
providing a City vehicle escort as needed to facilitate delivery to City facilities.
2. High Tech Irrigation will be responsible to provide:
a. after hours contact phone numbers of key staff and or other means of contact for
emergency equipment requests
b. equipment & supply delivery as soon as practical, or as agreed to with the City
staff making the request, within the time frames requested;
c. emergency equipment & supply requests any day of the calendar year during the
term of this agreement regardless of holidays, time of day or weekend periods;
d. additional deliveries of equipment under the terms of this agreement if the
emergency so demands;
