A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LA QUINTA LIBRARY
WHEREAS, on January 19, 2010, Friends of the La Quinta Library
generously offered a S 1,000 donation to be given to the City of La Quinta as a
contribution toward the Seasons Art Panels located in the children's classroom of
the Library; and
WHEREAS, the donation was offered to the City of La Quinta and was not
given to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of La Quinta to accept the
donation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La
Quinta, California, as follows:
The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of the S 1,000 as a
contribution to the children and parents who utilize the facility.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 19`h day of January 2010, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Evan, Franklin, Henderson, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None

ABSTAIN: None
