A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AND ENDORSE RIGHT
OF WAY CERTIFICATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA FOR STATE AND FEDERALLY FUNDED
PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of La Quinta is eligible to receive State funding for
certain transportation projects through the California Department of Transportation,
and
WHEREAS, the City of La Quinta is eligible to receive Federal Funding for
certain transportation projects through the California Department of Transportation,
and _
WHEREAS, the City of La Quinta wishes to delegate signatory authority to
the City's Public Works Director to execute Right-of-Way Certifications on behalf of
the City of La Quinta.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta, California, as follows:
That the Public Works Director is authorized to execute and endorse Right of
Way Certifications for State and/or Federally sponsored projects on behalf of the
City of La Quinta.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
City Council held on this 3rd day of August 2010, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Evans, Franklin, Henderson, Sniff, Mayor Adolph
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
